Kent based Ben Mills shot to fame after coming third on series three of the X Factor in 2006. His success on this show resulted in a recording contract with Sony BMG and the subsequent release of his debut album, "Picture Of You", in March 2007.

In the years since, Ben has travelled the length and breadth of the UK, Europe and the United States, appearing at a range of venues to rave reviews.

In addition to performing with Benzego, Ben continues to pursue his solo career and recently released his second album, "Freedom". In 2009 Ben formed the Rod Stewart revival band, Simply Rod, then in October 2011 he was invited by Jim Cregan, guitarist from the original Rod Stewart band, to join his band Cregan & Co (formerly Apart From Rod) as their lead vocalist.
